2007 La Posta, ‘Estala Armando Vineyard’ Bonarda,
Mendoza, Argentina

This wine was the star at our most recent monthly tasting and it might just become our house wine for the summer. Originally from Italy and now the 2nd most planted red grape variety in Argentina, Bonarda crafts interesting and characterful wine. La Posta does a fine example. Packed with blackberries and dark plum flavours, it’s the ideal wine to charm your guests around the BBQ. Its slight floral character especially seduced us.
